Centuries ago the Cultural Revolution was sparked by the invention of printing. Nowadays we have access to almost all information produced by mankind. Despite the wide availability of knowledge on the internet, it seems that without the exchange of experience during human-to-human interaction, online education itself has limited effects. It often takes another person to explain something. Satisfaction with discovering a new one, or solving a puzzle is greater when it is happening in a group.The educational building of the future must have a lot of space for diverse and collective action.
The University of the future should have spaces with characteristics conducive to cooperation between people and corresponding to the challenges of modern times. For example rooms for the exchange of experience, rooms for brainstorming, co-workings with a strong effect of " cross-pollination”, aulas of the emergence of ideas, interactive exercise labs and workshops. Individual spaces do not contradict this logic, so small cells to watch online lectures and the rooms of silent learning will also find their place.
